 About the Conference

International Conference on Edge, IoT and Social Computing for Digital Villages (ICEISCDV-2021) is being organised as e-conference on 11-12 March 2021 by Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research, Chandigarh. The Conference is sponsored by AICTE, New Delhi.The objective of ICEISCDV-2021 is to provide a forum for scientists, engineers, educators and researchers to discuss and exchange new ideas, novel results and experience on all aspects of IoT, Edge and Social Computing for Developed Villages. This conference encourages researchers to submit original research contributions in all major areas of IoT, Edge and Social Computing.

 

About the Institute

 National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh, an ISO 9001-2015 certified institute, is one of the four national institutes established by the Government of India in 1967 for the growth and development of technical education in the country. It is now reckoned as a resource institute for the technical education system providing services to its clientele covering faculty/staff of technical institutions, officials of directorates/boards of technical education, central and state government departments, industry, students from technical institutes, community and trainees from overseas. The institute undertakes the following spectrum of activities: Education and Training Programmes, Curriculum Development, Instructional Material Development, Research and Development, Extension Services, Consultancy in Technical Education and Technology areas. The institute offers industry-oriented and practice-based Master's Degree Programmes affiliated to Panjab University, Chandigarh in five disciplines. The Institute has also started offering specialized programmes in emerging areas of IoT, AI, and Robotics affiliated to J.C Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad from the current year: M.E. in CSE Specialization in IoT (Internet of Things),           M.E. in ECE Specialization in AI (Artificial Intelligence) and M.E. in Mechanical Engineering (Robotics). The institute has been recognized as a ‘Research Centre’ by Panjab University, Chandigarh (in 2006) as well as by Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar/Kapurthala, Punjab (in 2005) for pursuing research work leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy i.e. Ph.D.
