ABOUT THE COLLEGE

St. Joseph’s College of Arts and Science for Women (Autonomous), Hosur, was established in 2006 with the motto “Knowledge Purifies and Charity Enhances.” Affiliated with Periyar University, Salem, and managed by the FSPM Sisters, Coimbatore, the institution is committed to empowering young women through quality education, skill development, and value-based learning.

The college offers a wide range of Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Research programmes with a student strength of more than 2,000. The institution provides a vibrant academic environment emphasizing experiential learning, innovation, interdisciplinary education, and outcome-based learning in accordance with NEP 2020.

The PG & Research Department of Computer Science offers programmes including B.C.A., B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Sc. Data Science, B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence, M.Sc. Computer Science, and Ph.D. Computer Science.

The department is dedicated to fostering innovation, research excellence, and industry-oriented learning. Through seminars, workshops, coding events, research activities, and industry collaborations, students are equipped with the skills required to meet modern technological challenges. ComSTA actively promotes technical excellence and leadership among students while encouraging research and community engagement.

The Fifth International Conference on Sustainable AI Research for Societal Development (ICSARSD–2026) aims to bring together academicians, researchers, industry experts, innovators, and students to discuss emerging trends and transformative applications of Artificial Intelligence for sustainable societal growth.

The conference serves as a global platform for exchanging ideas, presenting innovative research, and exploring AI-driven solutions to real-world challenges. Special emphasis will be placed on sustainable technologies, ethical AI, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and smart systems that contribute to inclusive and sustainable development.
