About the Institution
The Anbanathapuram Vahaira Charities-AVC instigated in the year 1806 with the five philanthropic families of Pallavarayapet, Enathimangalam, Karugudi, Anbanathapuram and Kanganamputhur shortly called PEKAK implicated for societal service launched by the founder father, Thiru. Ramalingam pillai. With the dictum "Providing Educational
Opportunity to the rural public, the AVC trust started rendering educational service from 1955 itself. The golden jubilee organization, A.V.C. College(Autonomous) commenced during 1957. The silver jubilee institution A.V.C. Polytechnic College inducted in 1983. A.V.C. College of Engineering established in 1996.
A.V.C. College of Engineering is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, recognized by Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.
A.V.C. College of Engineering has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with B grade.
Our institution is certified with ISO by DNV-GL from the year 2003. With the motto, continuous quality improvement, we strive to ensure perfection for academic excellence.
Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Computer Applications and Department of Chemistry have been recognized as collaborative research department by Centre for Research, Anna University, Chennai.
A.V.C. College of Engineering is situated in the main high way, six kms from the historical town Mayiladuthurai housed in an evergreen scenic landscape of around 30 acres on the Mayiladuthurai-Thirukkadaiyur high way.
About the Department
The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering established in the year 2011.The
Department offers B.E. (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) under the faculty of Electrical
Engineering of Anna University. It provides an effective engineering education and training to the students to become a successful professional. The laboratories are highly equipped with latest facilities for imparting quality education.
Conference Objectives
The National Conference on Modeling Analysis & Simulation Techniques in Engineering Research (MASTER'18) aims at bringing together the leading academic scientists, industrial persons, researchers and budding students to exchange and share their experiences and research outcomes in the aspects of emerging and advanced technologies.
Conference Highlights
Research Paper in absentia is also acceptable.
